About Redondo Beach
Bordering Palos Verdes, Torrance, and Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach is one of the largest among the beach cities. The City is divided into two defined areas: South Redondo and North Redondo. The main attractions are the long stretch of coastline and bike paths known as the Esplanade and the King Harbor Marina. The area known as Riviera Village has many wonderful eateries and shops to explore.
In 1915, Redondo was once home to a waterfront rollercoaster and the largest cold-water plunge in the world.
