Katharine D. Meier

Founder & President

Katharine Meier is the Founder & President of KDM Realty Group, Inc.  She is an award-winning, top-producing luxury real estate broker with over 18 years of experience serving the South Bay and Los Angeles. She is known for her exuberant enthusiasm and passion for real estate and is most recently known for selling the new luxury homes at The Residences of Rolling Hills Country Club in Rolling Hills Estates.

Born and raised in Redondo Beach, Katharine’s passion for real estate began at an early age.  In high school, Katharine spent several summers working as a front desk receptionist at Shorewood Realtors, and it was there that she realized that she would like to one day sell real estate in the South Bay. Upon graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Katharine received her real estate license and jumped into a luxury condo project called Azzurra in Marina del Rey. While working at Azzurra, she learned how to handle real estate transactions, as well as plan and host sales events.  During this time, Katharine sold 22 luxury condos totaling over $25 million. She was quickly promoted to Sales Associate after selling the largest penthouse valued at $4.6 million. 

Eventually, a unique opportunity to grow professionally came about and she joined the private equity firm Colony Capital as an REO Asset Manager.  At Colony Capital she managed a diversified real estate portfolio of over 150 assets consisting of real estate foreclosures: multifamily, office, residential, and land assets.  These foreclosures spanned across 25 states and totaled over $200 million. In the process she garnered valuable knowledge regarding investment properties, property management, cashflows, negotiations, auction processes and investor relations.

From 2018 until spring 2022, Katharine served as a Director of Sales and Marketing for The Chadmar Group at The Residences of Rolling Hills Country Club.  Together, she and her sales associate sold over $300 million in residential real estate for The Chadmar Group.

With over 15 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate, Katharine has personally been involved in over $525 million worth of real estate transactions. She is passionate about real estate and helping people find exactly what they are looking for. Her reliable, detailed process puts her clients at ease knowing she is handling the details of each transaction. 

A 4th generation Californian, Katharine resides in Redondo Beach with her husband, Sean and their young daughter.  In her free time, Katharine enjoys spending time with her family and friends, fitness, interior decorating, playing tennis, learning to golf and canvas painting.
